We have two seasons in Southern California. Swampy and drought. Maybe I should be doing a better job of documenting this seasonal affect. We get months of rain here but, to date, I’ve been reluctant to expose my camera to wet conditions. I think that will change. Not that I won’t take applicable precautions to guard my equipment, but I can’t let opportunities pass by out of fear for my gear.
I learned quite a bit from my first giveaway, but the chief thing I learned is that shipping is expensive. If I’m ever going to start offering physical products, I’m going to have to do something about shipping costs. So I’m officially in research mode.
I’ve started a photo journal with my weekly prints, and I’m enjoying the physical aspects of it. Laying things out by hand, and writing descriptions on black paper. It’s soothing in a way that I can’t fully articulate.
